A. Not currently, but we may consider it in the future if there is enough demand for it.
|
| Q. Can ShopFront handle
splitting boxes of items? Just say you have a carton of
beer and you want to be able to sell it as either a full/half
or six pack. |

only if each is set up as a different item. It cannot know
that you have broken up a 6-pack into singles. |

may be deducted from stock or not deducted as required. |
| Q. For stock
that has been sold, can ShopFront print a 'Sold' sticker
or automatically deduct stock from the inventory with the
client's details on them so as to not inadvertently sell
sold stock that has been held for a specific client until
needed? |
| A. No, not currently, this
must be done as a part of the stores procedures, however
ShopFront lets you know when items that a Customer has specially
ordered arrive so that you can hold them for collection.
ShopFront also knows that items are on Customer orders and
will re-order more items if required. |
|
Q. Does ShopFront record sales against particular salespersons
for calculating commission's?
|
A. Yes it does. You can then
produce a commission report for the totals.
Q. Is it possible
hot swap all USB devices? A. Our advice
here is to turn off all power to your system before removing
or swapping any cables at any time.
Q. Barcode labels. ShopFront requires '3 of 9' labels, They must be printed by either a laser or a high resolution thermal
printer. Utilising your own system printer would probably be the most convenient
and price effective option.
Standard printer labels can be purchased at most office suppliers.
You can use a dymo printer, as long as it adheres to the above
criteria. BUT please note: this would operate independent of the actual
ShopFront program, requiring you to manually enter each required
barcode. We could not provide any service /support.
