One of ShopFront's greatest features is its flexibility: its numerous preference options allow for it to be adapted to suit a wide variety of businesses.

ShopFront will also keep abreast with your business growth - you can buy extra licences when required.


Easy installation & setup
Get started with a minimum of effort. If your existing data is available as a file, it can be imported directly into ShopFront.
User definable terminology
ShopFront allows many of the terms used to be defined according to your organisation's requirements. No need to learn new terminology, ShopFront adjusts to your way of working.
Barcode interface
ShopFront connects to most barcode. scanners to provide fast, accurate data entry. ShopFront will also connect to portable barcode readers for stocktake purposes and will print barcode labels on Laser, InkJet and some dedicated barcode printers.
Cash Drawer control
ShopFront controls the opening of the cash drawer and therefore the movement of cash in your shop.
Pop-up lists for fast & accurate lookup of codes
In any system, codes are hard to remember. ShopFront provides Lookup Lists that give you the codes instantly - without having to leave the window in which you are working.
On-line help
ShopFront's integrated On-line Help gives you help on any topic you require, from anywhere in the system. You can even add your own notes to the help topics.
Password Protection
ShopFront is a multi-user system with full password and access control.
Audit Trail
ShopFront keeps a certain minimum of information regarding the history of each logon.
Printing control
ShopFront supports a Reciept Printer (of Roll type as in a Cash Register), and a main printer such as an ink jet or laser printer.
Point of Sale
The Point of Sale section provides total control over all functions required for POS operation. This includes Sales, Sales Orders, Clients, Stock Enquiries, Receipts, Petty Cash, Refunds, Sales Credits and Daily Reporting.
Sales
ShopFront handles Cash sales, Account Sales and Lay Buys easily and quickly. Sales may also be put "On Hold" to be completed at a later time. Discounts may be applied as required. Sales may also be paid by a combination of Receipt Types E.g.: Part Cash and part Credit Card.
Daily Reporting
Daily reports are quickly and easily printed, they include; Takings, Sales, Receipts, Petty Cash, Refunds, Sales Credits, Item Analysis by Group and Profit by Sales Person.
Management
The ShopFront management section provides access to the full range of functions; Clients, Sales, Sales Orders, Receipts, Sales Credits, Suppliers, Purchase Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Credits, Inventory and Stocktake.
Clients
ShopFront holds detailed information on each Client including mail address, delivery address, telephone no, fax no, contact names, trading terms, client type, source, financial position, account approved and account on credit hold.
Client Reports
Client reports include; List, Details, Mailing Labels, VIP Cards, Sales Orders, Aged Balances, Financial Summary, Sales, Sales Credits, Receipts, Debtors Journal, Client Analysis and Client Statements.
Sales Orders
Sales Orders (or special orders) may be entered to control ordering and delivery of items. When the goods arrive, the sales order may be converted to a sale. Any items which remain unfilled will be listed on the sales invoice. All and Outstanding Sales Order Reports are provided.
Receipts
Receipts may be entered, either from account customers or as a part of a Cash Sale. Receipts reports include All, Reconciled and Unreconciled.
Sales Credits
ShopFront provides for the entry of Sales Credits. These Credits can be applied against future purchases by the Client.
Suppliers
ShopFront holds detailed information on each Supplier including Mail Address, Delivery Address, Telephone Number, Fascsimile Number, Contact Names, Trading Terms, Minimum Order Value, Preferred Order Value and Payment Priority. Reports include Lists, Orders, Deliveries and Credits.
Purchase Orders
Purchase orders may be entered and the status of each tracked. Part filled and cancelled orders are supported. ShopFront's automatic ordering function takes much of the drudgery out of managing your Inventory. Reports include All, Outstanding and By Supplier.
Deliveries
Deliveries may be entered and matched against Purchase Orders or they may be entered when a Purchase Order has not been entered. Barcode or Price Labels may be printed for all the goods on a delivery. Reports include All and By Supplier.
Purchase Credits
Purchase Credits allow for entry of goods which may be returned to a supplier, or where a Credit is provided for overcharging etc. Reports include All and By Supplier.
Inventory Items
ShopFront holds detailed information on each inventory item including; Item Group, Item Reference Number (PLU, Barcode Number etc.), Description One, Description Two, Description Three, Description Four, Supplier, Supplier Item Number, Current Level, Low Level, Re-order Quantity, Sales Orders, Back Orders, Lead Time, Location, Notes, Tax Rate, Standard Cost, Last Cost, Ex-tax Cost, Up to five Selling Prices and more.
Inventory Reporting
ShopFront provides extensive inventory reporting capabilities including; List, Details, Barcode Lookup List, Details, Export to Disk Files, Search for Barcode Labels, Select Barcode Labels. Management reports include Status, Low Level, Value, Sales, Top Sellers, Low Sellers, No Sellers and Movement.
Stocktake
ShopFront provides both automated and manual stocktake methods. Automated stocktake uses a portable barcode scanner to scan the items, the data is then uploaded to the ShopFront system and processed. The manual option requires data entry of the stocktake levels. Reports include Stocktake List and Stocktake Variance.
Registers
ShopFront supports more than one register in a single store, each register may be configured differently with regard to printers, scanners, cash drawer etc.
Inventory Groups
An unlimited number of Inventory groups may be set up. Groups are a powerful sales analysis tool which allow you to determine which type of product is making you money and which is not!
Personnel
Personnel may be entered as required to provide extra reporting and control capabilities. Each person may can be assigned an Access Level, which controls their access to various functions of ShopFront and a Commission Rate for commission based Sales incentives.
